We've made it through 5 years of fried food eating goodness at the fair.  I'm pretty confident this year's trip has been the most epic to date - I don't remember any other years when we've sampled quite as many foods as we managed this year.  We spent a good 6 hours at the fair just walking from stand to stand, looking for the most interesting things, and eating.  Going with a group of at least 6 people works out well.  We all contribute $20 to a group fund, and we use that money to buy food.  The money goes farther that way, and we get just a couple of bites of many things, so we get to try a lot of stuff.  I can't wait for next year!

Our list this year:
Chili - Had to coat my stomach early for all of the fried things to come
Waffle Fries - Seriously the best fries I've had.  Fantastic if you're into crispy fries.
Deep Fried Quesadilla - The tortilla offered a very nice, delicate crunch.  I was surprised that this was so good, although it was very greasy.

Deep Fried Snickers (the 2 things towards the back in the picture below)

Deep Fried Cream Cheese - A treatfrom Hot Dog on a Stick that they don't sell at the mall.  It was served with a sweet chili sauce, but I would have like it more if the sauce had more kick.

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers - These are a group favorite that is always on the must have list.
Deep Fried Cookie Dough - New this year.  The very best thing I ate all day.
Deep Fried Oreos
Deep Fried Klondike
Deep Fried Cinnamon Toast Crunch - I was most looking forward to this, and I might have been the most disappointed by it.  I'd love to see a Cap'n Crunch version, but otherwise I probably wouldn't have it again.
Deep Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly

Deep Fried Italian Dough (kind of like the cinnamon dessert at Taco Bell) - Before we ordered, I was really hoping that this was a savory dough.  I was hoping for something more akin to garlic knots.

Deep Fried Pineapple

Deep Fried Spam - They failed to cook the dough on this one, otherwise it might have been better.
Deep Fried Lobster - Easily the absolute worst thing we ate all day.  The only thing worse I've had at the fair is deep fried watermelon.

A deviant named N7Lancelot has been harassing me in the notes and the forums for some time now. When I went to confront him in the notes, where I blocked him, he had this to say:

"Since you blocked my main like a little bitch before I could hand out some educational advice, I must now use my alt. And make no mistake, I'll do whatever I need. Blocking to fit the last word in isn't going to bode well. You can always block this one, but I'll have another alt ready. And another. Unlimited Alt Works, lul."

This is what ZEO-Jehuty, the alternate account of N7Lancelot, said to me.

Now do you understand?

He's not going to stop. He's just going to jump fro alternate account to alternate account. Do you get how scary this is? I want this deviant deleted, I want his IP address blocked, I want something DONE about this.

And no, I already went to the Help Desk. And they are dong NOTHING.

And then there's this impostor named EECentrall, which is just my nae but with two Ls. This person's stolen my artwork took my icon, took my screennae, and is making a mockery of me in the forums with posts in MY name. Again went to the Help Desk, literally DOZENS of times, and they have done NOTHING.

I want these deviants deleted and their IP addresses blocked, before they move on and harass even more people in the future. Here are all three accounts: N7Lancelot's his alternate, and my impostor's, EECentrall:

Attention, attention! This is a very important message. Read thoroughly!

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement has just been published, and it is going to substantially threaten DeviantArt's life and future. This deal is dangerous for DeviantArt because of its intellectual property enforcement chapter, whose provisions could destroy this site's mission, which is to "[create] the cultural context for how [art] is created, discovered, and shared," and "to exhibit, promote, and share their works with an enthusiastic, art-centric community." On a larger scale, the TPP would also destroy the careers of nearly every artist who posts works on this site.
The TPP's intellectual property chapter includes provisions that could censor the Internet, endanger online privacy, impose draconian copyright standards, abolish freedom of expression, criminalize whistleblowing, and rob the public domain. Internet service providers could be held liable for hosting copyright infringement, and they could also be forced to become private copyright enforcers, forced to take down, filter, and block content with only a private notice from the copyright holder. So, under the TPP's provisions, DeviantArt could be shut down and its users and staff could be treated like criminals.
The TPP would push for the widespread use of Digital Rights Management software, or DRM, to prevent consumers from tinkering with devices or content for purposes that corporations fear will infringe their copyrights and patents. Consumers could be prevented from unlocking their mobile phones to change telecom carriers, and prevent documentary filmmakers and other artists from breaking encryption on DVDs or sampling online streaming videos, where legal threats could be faced even if the video is created legally. People with visual or reading disabilities could be prevented from changing the formats of books and movies to make them more accessible. Not only unauthorized content, but also unauthorized software, could be blocked under the TPP's digital locks provisions. There is NO EVIDENCE that DRM does much to combat copyright infringement or protect consumers from viruses. All DRM does is suppress companies that promote innovation, criminalize sharing, and hinder and break the Internet and new technologies.

This is an emergency. You need to take action before this extreme pact can be implemented. And if the TPP is implemented, our right to share, modify, and experiment with content and technology could be faced with overly severe restrictions. As such, this site could be brought to its end, once and for all.

You can help stop the TPP by signing the below petition:
